*Note: sum of the angles in a triangle is 180. In a right trangle that leaves 90 degrees for the sum of the measures of two acute angles.

let x be the measure of one of the angles. the other then is (2x + 30)
.
x + (2x + 30) = 90
3x = 60
x = 20
.
20 degrees and 70 degrees would be the two acute angles
