You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let A,B, and C be the sides of the triangle, ordered from shortest to longest.
1.A=C-3
2.B=A%2B2
From eq. 1,
C=A%2B3
THe perimeter of the triangle is,
A%2BB%2BC=20
Substitute,
A%2B%28A%2B2%29%2B%28A%2B3%29=20
3A%2B5=20
3A=15
highlight%28+A=5%29inches
Then
B=5%2B2
highlight%28+B=7%29inches
and
C=5%2B3
highlight%28+C=8%29inches
