Question 1210669: Today, I beging my long journey into a review of a course that I took in the Spring 1993 semester. That course is called Precalculus. My goal is simply to revisit one of my favorite math courses. This revisit of precalculus is also a walk down memory lane for me.
I will post even number questions from the Michael Sullivan Precalculus Edison 10 book for which the author does not provide answers in the back of the book. The entire book will be covered. This means chapter by chapter, section by section, including challenging questions without sample questions to use as a guide. We begin with Chapter 1. Chapter 1 is a review of courses that students must take before precalculus. Let's get started.
Chapter 1, Section 1.1
Q. 56.
