Question 1134986: To further justify the Cofunction Theorem, use your calculator to find a value for the given pair of trigonometric functions. The trigonometric functions are cofunctions of one another, and the angles are complementary angles. Round your answers to four places past the decimal point.
tan 2° 30', cot 87° 30'

tan 2° 30'=
cot 87° 30'=

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Sorry....

The problem says to use YOUR calculator to evaluate the two trig functions. WE can't use YOUR calculator; YOU have to do it.

Notes:
(1) 30' is 0.5 degrees, so the angles are 2.5 and 87.5 degrees
(2) no calculator I know of calculates cotangent values; you will need to calculate 1/tangent(angle)
