You can put this solution on YOUR website! I would rename the triangle to abc instead of xyz and I would rename
a(0,2) b(4,-1) and c(-2,-1)
The reason I do this is because I don't want to get confused with X and Y coordinates. I will even try to plot these points on Cartesian coordinate system.
We have three points here a, b and c and we have to calculate their distances from one another. In that case we will have three sides of the triangle and we can add all three to get the perimeter.
We need the length of ab, ac and bc and we have to add them together
To find the lengh of ab we need the coordinates which the problem has given u.
