Question 1015078: will someone please help my daughter because i don't understand how to do this problem it says that triangle TOP and ACE are similar what is the measure of E in triangle TOP, T is the bottom left angle O is the top of the triangle and P is the bottom right angle of the triangle in triangle ACE, A is the bottom left angle C is the top of the triangle and E is the bottom right angle what is the measure of E it says to let P=3.5, T=4.25 and A=2.125 please help her

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The points listed with values are not well described that way. If angle at E is a right angle, then, BECAUSE the triangles are similar, angle at P on the other triangle is ALSO a right angle. Your values list is not for angles but for the sides maybe, opposite of the angles at those points.
Maybe you are trying to express that on triangle TOP, TO is 3.5 units length, OP is 4.35 units, and for triangle ACE, CE is 2.15 units.
You already have your answer for what is E, if you mean, what is the angle measure. You may have the question, WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE SEGMENT OPPOSITE THE ANGLE AT POINT E? This means, what is the length of the segment AC ?
UNDERSTAND: the size of the corresponding segments between similar triangles are in proportion.
TO corresponds to AC; and OP corresponds to CE.
You need to draw your two triangles and label all parts to see that.
