Question 335596: Solve the system of equations by graphing.
1.)-3x=5-y, 2y=6x+10
2.)x+y=4, x+y=-4
I have tried to muddle my way through these two problems since they are my last two for the week, but alas, I'm horrible with algebra.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated by this simple legal student.
THANKS!!!

Question 339885: I am not sure how to set up this problem: The average monthly high temperature (in degrees Fahrenheit) in Cincinnati for the first 10 months of the year can be modeled by the equation where x = 1 corresponding to January. What month is the high temperature most likely to be close to 75 degrees?
Thank you so much (I am encouraged to use a TI84 graphing calculator, but that is new to me so I am having trouble with that as well.)

Question 342986: Please solve algebraically:
2x^2 + 2y^2 + 4x = 6y
x^2 + y^2 + 2x - 3y = 1
For the first equation, I was able to divide everything by 2 and complete the square. After, I completed the square I factored it and got the answer:
( x+1)^2 + (y-3)^2 = 0
I did not know what to do after that though, it would be easy to solve the with a graph, but I cannot figure out how to solve both equations. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

Question 342987: Please solve algebraically:

I do not know really where to start on this one, I would think that you would complete the square for the second equation to begin. However, after that I do not know what to do with the first equation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as this seems difficult to me, thank you so so much!
