Like y=x^2 but narrower; and the other equation is a hyperbola.
You would expect in symbols, to be able to say x%284x%5E2%29=-10,
4x%5E3=-10
x%5E3=-10%2F4
x%5E3=-5%2F2
x=root%283%2C-5%2F2%29=-1.357 approximately,
which means y=4%28%28-5%2F2%29%5E%281%2F3%29%29%5E2, y=4%28-5%2F2%29%5E%282%2F3%29=7.368 approximately.
