You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4%2F5t+-+1+=+1%2F5t+%2B+5 First, we'll ge rid of the fractions by multiplying each term in the equation by 5t --- the LCM
4%285t%2F5t%29-1%285t%29=1%285t%2F5t%29%2B5%285t%29 this gives us
4-5t=1%2B25t subtract 1 from and add 5t to both sides of the equation
4-5t%2B5t-1=1-1%2B25t%2B5t collect like terms
3=30t divide both sides by 30
t=3%2F30=%281%2F10%29+or+0.1
CK
4%2F%285%2A.1%29-1=1%2F%285%2A.1%29%2B5
4%2F.5-1=1%2F.5%2B5
8-1=2%2B5
7=7

Hope this helps---ptaylor
