SOLUTION: How would you find the inverse of one to one function f(x)=9x/x-8? I have worked it down to xy-8x=9y but not sure what the next step would be... f(x)= 9x/x-8 y= 9x/x-8 x= 9

Question 681730: How would you find the inverse of one to one function f(x)=9x/x-8?
I have worked it down to xy-8x=9y but not sure what the next step would be...
f(x)= 9x/x-8
y= 9x/x-8
x= 9y/y-8
x(y-8)= 9y
xy-8x= 9y

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How would you find the inverse of one to one function f(x)=9x/x-8?
I have worked it down to xy-8x=9y but not sure what the next step would be...
f(x)= 9x/x-8
y= 9x/x-8
x= 9y/y-8
x(y-8)= 9y
xy-8x= 9y
============
xy - 9y = 8x
y*(x-9) = 8x
x = 8x/(x-9)
