You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(4X^3Y)/(2X^2Y) 2X^2 & Y ARE COMMON TO BOTH NUMERATOR & DENOMINATOR THUS THEY CANCEL OUT LEAVING
2X
-------------------------------------------------------
1/X+4 IN ORDER TO ADD THESE 2 TERMS WE NEED A COMMON DENOMINATOR. IN THIS CASWE IT IS X. SO WE MUST MULTIPLY THE 4 BY X/X THUS
1/X+4X/X NOW WE ADD THE NUMERATORS
(1+4X)/X THIS IS NOT REDUCABLE.
