Hi,
Using Common Denominator..
7+=+-12%2Fx+-+1%2Fx%5E2 |||Multiplying thru by x^2 so as all denominators = 1
7x^2 = -12x - 1
7x^2 + 12x + 1 = 0
x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+
x+=+%28-12+%2B-+sqrt%28+144-28+%29%29%2F%2814%29+
x+=+%28-12+%2B-+sqrt%28+116%29%29%2F%2814%29+
x+=+%28-12+%2B-+sqrt%28+4%2A29%29%29%2F%2814%29+
x+=+%28-12+%2B-+2sqrt%28+29%29%29%2F%2814%29+
x = -0.0878 or x = -1.6265
