We are given only one equation with two unknowns.
So the solution is not unique.
For different values of x, we arrive at different value4s of y.
If x = 0, then y = 0
If x = 1, then y =-4
If x = 2, then y = -8
Thus we have many solutions.

What the previous response left out is the equation to get the numbers, to find this equation you isolate y
y=-4x
to find points simply place the x value in the equation and it gives you the Y
ex,
say we are loking for the point where x is 7
y=-4(7)
y=-28
if you are solving for the graph
the x and y intercept is at zero
The domain is xEr and the range is yEr
