Well, lets think about this:
x%5E2=y%5E2=25
sqrt%28x%5E2%29=sqrt%28y%5E2%29=sqrt%2825%29
x=y=5
Or
x=y=-5
y-x=1
-5--5=-5%2B5=0
5-5=0
As you can see it is impossible for both equations to be true.
