You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-intercept: Set y=z=0.
4x=32
x=8
(8,0,0)

.
z-intercept: Set x=y=0
-2z=32
z=-16
(0,0,-16)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
An equation of the form 4x+6y-2z=32 . Find the difference between x intercept and z intercept?
----------
x-intercept:
Let y = z = 0
Then x = 32/4 = 8
Intercept is (8,0,0)
------
z-intercept
Let x = y = 0
Then z = -16
Intercept is (0,0,-16)
----
distance = sqrt[(change in x)^2 + (change in y)^2 + (change in z)^2
---
d = sqrt[8^2 + 0^2 + 16^2] = sqrt(64 + 1024
d = sqrt(1280)
d = 35.78
