Let m = cost of 1 milk
given:
(1) t+%2B+m+=+210 (in cents)
(2) 2t+%2B+3m+=+515 (in cents)
Multiply both sides of (1) by 2
and subtract from (2)
(2) 2t+%2B+3m+=+515
(1) -2t+-+2m+=+-420
m+=+95
And, since
t+%2Bm+=+210
t+=+210+-+95
t+=+115
1 taco costs $1.15 and 1 milk costs $.95
