You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(A-8)+7=5(A+2)-3A-19
2A-16+7=5A+10-3A-19
2A-5A+3A=10-19+16-7
5A-5A=26-26
0A=0
0=0 DOESN'T SOLVE FOR A?????????

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

2%28a-8%29%2B7=5%28a%2B2%29-3a-19 Start with the given equation

2a-16%2B7=5a%2B10-3a-19 Distribute

2a-9=5a%2B10-3a-19 Combine like terms on the left side

2a-9=2a-9 Combine like terms on the right side

2a=2a-9%2B9Add 9 to both sides

2a-2a=-9%2B9 Subtract 2a from both sides

0a=-9%2B9 Combine like terms on the left side

0a=0 Combine like terms on the right side

0=0 Simplify

Since this equation is always true for any "a" value, this means "a" can equal any number. So there are an infinite number of solutions.
