You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
how do i solve this equation?
2x^2 + y^2 =9
3x+6 = 4y-4x
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2 = 9,      (1)
3x+%2B+6 = 4y+-+4x.   (2)
Express y = %287x%2B6%29%2F4 from (2) and substitute it into (1). You will get a single equation for unknown x.
Then simplify and solve it.
