Question 625727: Cost of Saxony Carpeting The cost of DuPont Stainmaster Saxony carpeting is $5.56 per square foot. This price includes the cost of installation. Determine the cost for Nancy to have this carpeting installed in all three bedrooms.
Bedroom one- 10'X20' and is a rectangle
Bedroom two- 10'X14' and is a square
Bedroom three- 10'X14' and is a square
So what I did was take L*W for each then multiplied my answer by $5.56. Is that correct? For example in bed room one I took 10*20=200*5.56=1112

Question 626339: The ratio of the volume of two cubes is 125 to 64. What is the ratio of their surface areas?
I have taken the cube root of 125 and the cube root of 64 to get a ratio of surface area to be 25 to 16. Is this correct?
I got a scale factor of 5:4 and then squared it for the ratio of surface area.

Question 630333: I have been asked to test a piece of material that is 1/2" thick by 1" wide in a continuos length. The instruction states that specimen shall be 1/2" in thickness and 4 square inches in area. I would assume that the length needed should be 4". I have been told that it is 2" because both the top and bottom surfaces count. Is this true?

2*3.14*8*6=301.44/6.28*48=301.44/2.14*16*6=301.44/50.24*6=301.44
not even sure if this is right or um am i missing something?
