Question 511766: So i need to find the surface area of a half of a cylinder. I've tried everything i know how to do and even looked online and everything, but i cannot find the surface area without a width, and on the problem there is no width.

Question 517782: How to I find the surface area and volume of a cylinder with an inverted half sphere? (picture a slurpy cup with the lid top inside the cup instead of the sphere visible to the naked eye.) I have tried to find the areas and volumes of both the sphere and the cylinder seperately however am unsure of the correct solution due to the inverted sphere into the cylinder. the base is 4 cm and the height is 2.5 cm, these are the only two dimensions given.
