Assuming the shorter side of the glass is 7.5 ft, carried thru the door diagonally we can solve this as follow:
Using pythag, a^2 + b^2 = c^2, where:
a = 3 ft
b = the height of the door which we are trying to find
c = 7.5 ft

b =
b = 6.9 ft, Which is 6 + .9(12) = 6 ft 10.5 inch door would do nicely
