Question 777426: My teacher said that there is one shared surface area formula that you can use to find the surface area of all of the prisms; however, I cannot find that formula. I know the separate formulas for the triangular prism and the rectangular prism, but what is the shared formula for all of the prisms?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formula is

SA = 2*A + p*h

where

SA = total surface area of the prism

A = area of the base of the prism

p = perimeter of the base

h = height of the prism

Note: this applies to any right prism
