You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's kind of a general question, but I'll try.
Suppose you have a rectangle that is
3 meters on one side and 5 meters on the other side
The area of the rectangle is +3%2A5+=+15+ square meters
----------------
To convert the area to square centimeters,
( meters ) x ( 100 centimeters / meter )
+3%2A100+=+300+ centimeters
and
+5%2A100+=+500+ centimeters
To get the area, multiply
+300%2A500+=+150000+ square centimeters
-----------------
To convert the area to square millimeters,
( meters ) x ( 1000 millimeters / meter )
+3%2A1000+=+3000+ millimeters
and
+5%2A1000+=+5000+ millimeters
To get the area, multiply
+3000%2A5000+=+15000000+ square millimeters
-----------------
Hope this helps.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

if you have a cube and a=5cm is the length of the side of each edge of the cube, than

Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+6a%5E2
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+6%285cm%29%5E2
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+6%2A25cm%5E2
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+150cm%5E2
now I am going to convert a=5cm into mm
a=5%2A10m
a=50m
then,
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+6a%5E2
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+6%2850mm%29%5E2
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+6%2A2500mm%5E2
Surface_+Area_+of+_a_+Cube+=+15000mm%5E2
