The formula should be area=2%2Api%2Ar%5E2%2B2%2Api%2Ar%2Ah. So as the radius is half of 12 or 6 we have area=2%2A3.1415%2A36%2B2%2A3.1415%2A6%2A22. area=226.188%2B829.356 area=1055.544
