width of frame = 5in
uniform width all round = x inches
length of frame = 7+x
width = 5+x
Perimeter of frame = 2(L+W)
=2(7+x+5+x)
2(2x+12)= 32
/2
2x+12=16
-12
2x=4
/2
x=2
width = 2inch wide
