You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The radius and height of a right cylinder are each divided by square root of 5.
What is the change in surface area of the cylinder?
:
total S.A. = 2%2Api%2Ar%28r%2Bh%29
I inadvertently sent this, let's see if I can solve it
2%2Api are the same so we can just deal with r(r+h) = r^2 + rh
%28r%2Fsqrt%285%29%29%5E2 = r%5E2%2F5
and
r%2Fsqrt%285%29 * h%2Fsqrt%285%29 = %28rh%29%2F5
same denominator
%28r%5E2%2Brh%29%2F5
:
I am going to say it divides the surface area by 5
