Question 44503: I have two questions.
1 Flor is putting a fence around a field. The fiels is rectangular and measures 7.52 yards long & 18.89 yards wide How much fence does she need?
2. I have a figure I am not sure what it is called but it is sort of a slanted rectangle if that makes sense and the length is 8 ft and the height is 5 ft what is the area?
Any tips on how to show my work for long division on the computer ? Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1 Flor is putting a fence around a field. The fiels is rectangular and measures 7.52 yards long & 18.89 yards wide How much fence does she need?
Perimeter = 2(length) + 2(width)
= 2(7.52) + 2(18.89)
= 15.04 + 37.78
= 52.82
2. I have a figure I am not sure what it is called but it is sort of a slanted rectangle if that makes sense and the length is 8 ft and the height is 5 ft what is the area?
That "slant" is important in figuring out the true height of the figure.
And you need the true height in order to figure out the area.
You're right. Long division is a bear to show unless you know a lot
about Word. It's easy for us to show you the quotient and the remainder
but not so easy to show you the process.
