You can put this solution on YOUR website!

A rectangular prism has 2 ends and 4 sides. Opposite sides have the same area. The surface+area is the sum of the areas of all+six+sides.
How to find the surface area of Rectangular Prisms:
- Find the area of two sides %28Length%2AHeight%29%2A2 sides
- Find the area of adjacent sides %28Width%2AHeight%29%2A2 sides
- Find the area of ends %28Length%2AWidth%29%2A2 ends
- Add the three areas together to find the surface area

the_+surface_+area=2%28Length%2AHeight%29%2B2%28Width%2AHeight%29%2B2%28Length%2AWidth%29

Example: The surface area of a rectangular prism 5 cm long, 3 cm. wide and 2 cm. high
the_+surface_+area=+5%2A2%2A2+%2B+3%2A2%2A2+%2B+5%2A3%2A2+=+20+%2B+12+%2B+30+=+62+cm2
