You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The area of a rectangle is,
A=L%2AW or A=B%2AH using your variables.
If we triple the base, then
B%5B2%5D=3B
and double the height,
H%5B2%5D=2H
Now look at the area,
A%5B2%5D=B%5B2%5D%2AH%5B2%5D
A%5B2%5D=3B%2A2H
A%5B2%5D=6%2ABH
A%5B2%5D=6%2AA
The area is 6 times the original area.

Also, while generally proper spelling and vocabulary usage doesn't count, I encourage you to make a stronger effort to spell words correctly and to use entire words. Math, especially algebra, requires a lot of attention to detail and taking shortcuts will usually get you in trouble. Good habits lead to good practice. Also, some tutors will not make the effort to try and decipher what your question is, so it benefits you in multiple ways. Good luck!
