You would take 2 times pi times radius times (h+r). So this means 2(3.14)(3) which is 18.84. The height plus the radius is 6+3 which is 9. Lastly you would take 18.84 and multiply it by 9 which is 169.56. So the surface area is 169.56 inches. I hope this helps.
