You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do you find the radius and diameter of a circle with an area of 35 in^2

Step 1. The Area A of a circles is given as A=pi%2Ar%5E2=pi%2A%28d%2F2%29%5E2=pi%2Ad%5E2%2F4 where r is the radius and d is the diameter. Also diameter d=2r

Step 2. Then A=pi%2Ar%5E2=35

Step 3. Solving the equation in Step 2 leads to the following steps

Divide by pi to both sides of the equation

r%5E2=35%2Fpi

Take the square root to both sides of the equation

r=sqrt%2835%2Fpi%29 and d=2sqrt%2835%2Fpi%29

Step 4. ANSWER: Radius is sqrt%2835%2Fpi%29 and diameter is 2%2Asqrt%2835%2Fpi%29.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
