You can put this solution on YOUR website! I won't do it for you but i will tell you how to. Since a cylinder has 3 surfaces(top, bottom, and actual can) you have to find each. To find the top and bottom use this equation(pi r). Once you find one side then times by 2 and you will have the top and bottom. Now for the can part think of it if it has paper around it and you take it off and it becomes a rectangle. So then you find the surface area of that. To find the can part use this equation (2 pi r)*h. SO it is
2(pi*r^2)+(2*p*r)*h= area of cylinder. Just to let you know ^ symbols means it is an exponent and r stands for radius hopefully this helps.
