You can put this solution on YOUR website! The area of your square is 256cm^2.
Lets work a backward:
To find the area of a square you do (any side)^2
So in this case to find one side we will take to square root of 256.
sqt.(256)=16
So, your answer is the lenght of one side is 16cm.
Now if you wish to check just find the area of the square using 16cm for the side. You will get a area of 256cm^2
So, now you know that the side is 16cm for your square.
