For any right triangle, the median drawn to hypotenuse, has the length HALF of the hypotenuse.


Therefore, in your problem the hypotenuse length is  2*30.5 = 61 units.


Hence, the other leg is   =  = 60 units.


Then the area of the triangle is   = 11*30 = 330 square units.
