To answer the question, as it is posed,  B O T H  the dimensions of the rectangle AEFD should be given.


But they are not. Only the length EF = 26 m is given; the length of EA is  not given  in the plot.


    So, I only can say that the shaded area EFHG is  %283%2F4%29%2A%281%2F2%29 = 3%2F8  of the area of the rectangle AEFD.
