Slant height to the base edge of 24 units is  sqrt%2813%5E2%2B5%5E2%29 = 13.93 units long.



The lateral surface area is  %28%281%2F2%29%2A10%2A17.69+%2B+%281%2F2%29%2A24%2A13.93%29%2A2 = 511.22 square units.


To get the total surface area of the pyramid, add to it the area of the base  10*24 = 240 square units.
