You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The 3×5 photo's area is (3 in)×(5 in) = 15 in²
The 5×7 photo's area is (5 in)×(7 in) = 35 in²

To compare A to B, we divide A by B

To compare 35 in² to 15 in² we divide 35 by 15.

We do that and get that 35 in² is 2.333... times as many
as 15 in².

That's 1 + 1.333... so it's one times PLUS 1.333... times

Answer: 1.333... times or 133.333% or 133%261%2F3% increase

Either way.
