You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
You are calculating the surface area of the box.
Top and bottom = 2 x 40 x 60 = 4800 cm^2
Two sides = 2 x 8.5 x 60 = 1020 cm^2
Two other sides = 2 x 8.5 x 40 = 680 cm^2
Total = 6500 cm^2
This is the minimum number of cm^2 needed
to wrap a rectangular box.
Hope this helps :-)
