~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let "a" be the cube edge length.
Then the surface area of the cube is 4%2Aa%5E2 cm%5E2, while its volume is a%5E3 cm%5E3.
According to the condition,
1.5%2A4%2Aa%5E2 = a%5E3,
Hence,
6a%5E2 = a%5E3  --->  a = 6 cm.
Answer.  The cube edge dimension is 6 cm.
The surface area of a cube has 1.5 times as many cm as the volume of the cube has cubic cm. what is the measure of a side of the cube?
-----------
s = side length
---
Vol = s^3 cc
SA = 6s^2 sq cms
---
1.5s^3 = 6s^2
s^3 = 4s^2
s = 0
s = 4
