Question 83596: Simplify (be sure to rationalize all denominators)
10. 3b[SQRT(27a^5b)] + 2a[SQRT(3a^3b^3)]
Here is how I wrote the steps.
1. 3b[SQRT(27a^5b)] + 2a[SQRT(3a^3b^3)]
2. 3b[3a^2SQRT(3ab)] + 2a[a^2b^2SQRT(3ab)]
3. [9a^2+2a^3b^2][SQRT(3ab)]
I am told that there is a small error in the second step. I was also told to notice in the second term,I have SQRT(3a^3b^3).If I remove the perfect square roots,I'll remove only ab, not a^2b^2. I thought that I had the correct answer and am wonder what the correct step and answer are. Thank you for any help you have!

sq root sign and under it is x^2 - 10x + 28 = 2. the =2 is not under the sq. root sign.
Can you work this for me where I can understand the steps. I am very poor at factoring.

Question 87435: This problem is asking to find the length x and to answer in simplified radical form.
This is what I have so far in the simplifying,
x^2=45^2+51^2
=90+102
=192
so resulting,
x=24
Is this on the right track.

Question 87958: I'm suppose to express in simplest radical form, I'm not sure if I'm doing it right(square root of 3 minus square root of 5)(square root of 3 minus square root of 5).
(9-25)(9-25)=9 squared-2(225)+25 squared
(16)(16)=81-450+625
256=256
I'm very confused!
Please help!!

Question 88422: The last tutor didn't quite get the same answer that's located in the back of my book. Here is the problem:
(sqrt 2)/(1+sqrt 3) I know the answer is as follows. I just don't know why.
ANSWER: (-sqrt2 + sqrt6)/(2) Can you help?
