Question 483944: How do you find the inverse of f(x)= 1/(x^2) or f(x)=1/(x^3)?
I don't really have a problem with finding inverses but I can't figure out these two. I usually switch x and y, so can anyone explain it to me in that manner? A detailed answer is really what I need. Thank you, in advance!

Question 489000: Andrew factored the expression28x^2-42x^2+35x as 7x(4x^2+6x-5) . But when Melissa applied the distributive law and multiplied out7x(4x^2+6x-5) , she got28x^3+24x^2-23x ; thus, Andrew’s solution does not appear to check. Why is that? Please help Andrew to understand this better. Explain your reasoning and correctly factor the original expression, if possible. If the expression is prime, so state

Question 489790: My problem is: the square root of 1860 a^70 x^44
I worked it out and got the answer
2|a^35| x^22 sq root 465, but what I can't understand, is why is the "a" in absolute value and not the "x"? I was taught that if the square root is even and the exponent is even then use absolute value. Can you explain it to me?
Thanks so much!
Tracy
