You can put this solution on YOUR website!
square both sides and yo get
x^2 +7 = -(2x+1)
multiply out and move all terms over to one side
x^2 +2x +8 = 0
use the formula to get the roots
-1 + or - sqrt -7 all divided by 2
sqrt -7 is all kown as i sqrt 7
