You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 multiplied by the sq. root of 17 is a number between:
:
10 and 12
8 and 10
6 and 8
4 and 6
2 and 4
:
2%2Asqrt%2817%29
Notice that 17 is very close, and a little more than 16 and sqrt%2816%29=4
2*4=8
Therefore 2%2A%28sqrt%2817%29%29 is between 8 and 10.
I put this into my calculator to varify and the calulator rounded 2%2A%28sqrt%2817%29%29 off to 8.246211241 which is between 8 and 10.
Happy Calculating!!!
