divide both sides by 5
sqrt%284x-7%29=sqrt%288x%2B41%29
take the square on both sides
%284x-7%29=%288x%2B41%29
add-8x to both sides
4x-8x-7=8x-8x+41
-4x=41+7
-4x=48
/-4
x=-12
