remember: it would NOT+include+5 and 10

The sum of all the numbers from 5 to 10 exclusive is:
6%2B7%2B8%2B9=30
The only perfect square in the range 5+to 10 is 9, so subtract 9 from the sum above:
30+-+9+=+21.......or
6%2B7%2B8+=+21
