You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming you want to solve for 'x' right?

-8%28x%2B2%29%2B3x%2B6=7v%2B8 Start with the given equation.

-8x-16%2B3x%2B6=7v%2B8 Distribute.

-5x-10=7v%2B8 Combine like terms on the left side.

-5x=7v%2B8%2B10 Add 10 to both sides.

-5x=7v%2B18 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=%287v%2B18%29%2F%28-5%29 Divide both sides by -5 to isolate x.

x=-%287v%2B18%29%2F5 Simplify.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:

So the answer is x=-%287v%2B18%29%2F5
