True or false? The expression 5sqrt%2818%29+ is written in simplest radical form.
5sqrt%2818%29

False. That is not in simplest radical form because
18 can be written as the perfect square 9 times 2.

5sqrt%289%2A2%29

Take individual square roots of the factors under the radical:

5%2Asqrt%289%29%2Asqrt%282%29

And the square root of 9 is 3, so

5%2A3%2Asqrt%282%29

and finally

15sqrt%282%29

That is the simplest radical form.
