You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt+%286%2F7%29%2A+sqrt+%2814%2F3%29

When working with square roots you must be aware of and know how to use their properties. Since we have products and fractions may have use for either or both of these properties:
  • sqrt%28a%2Ab%29+=+sqrt%28a%29%2Asqrt%28b%29
  • sqrt%28a%2Fb%29+=+sqrt%28a%29%2Fsqrt%28b%29

Both these properties work in both directions.

Probably the easiest way to simplify this is to use the properties to combine the square roots into one and then simplify it. So we will use the first property to rewrite our expression as a single square root:
sqrt+%28%286%2F7%29%2814%2F3%29%29
Inside the square root we can simplify the expression:
sqrt+%28%282%2A3%2F7%29%282%2A7%2F3%29%29
sqrt+%28%282%2Across%283%29%2Fcross%287%29%29%282%2Across%287%29%2Fcross%283%29%29%29
leaving:
sqrt+%282%2A2%29
or
sqrt%284%29
which simplifies to
2

There are other ways to do this but, if they are done correctly, they all will reult in an answer of 2 and they are probably longer and/or more difficult than this solution.
