3x%5E3-48x+=+0 Factor out 3x.
3x%28x%5E2-16%29+=+0 Apply the zero product rule:
3x+=+0 or x%5E2-16+=+0
3x+=+0 so highlight%28x+=+0%29 and...
x%5E2+=+16 so highlight%28x+=+4%29 or highlight%28x+=+-4%29

3x(x^2-16)=0
3x=0
x=0/3
x=0 ans.
x^2-16=0
x^2=16
x=sqrt16
