: Please help me rationalize the denominator: 3square root symbol (this is cube root) -3 over or divided by 50. I seperated the two into cube root -3 over or divided by cube root 50. I have to rationalize the denominator, so I tried to multiply both top and bottom by cube root 50. When I do that, I get cube root 150 over cube root 2500! I have no idea what the cube root of 150 or 2500 is!
I also tried to break down cube root 50 but didn't have any luck. The answer in the textbook is cube root 60 over 10. I know they have probably reduced it but I can't figure out how. I'm still working on it but am stuck. Thanks! This question is from textbook Intermediate Algebra
